Bob and his wife Thon, have been enjoying the Longhorn HOG Chapter people, rides
and activities since retiring in late 2001 after purchase of their second HD in
early 2002, an Ultra Classic. Bob began riding the year they were married, 1966
in Thailand, rode Japanese bikes in a couple of countries and bought his first
HD, a basket case 1970 Aermacchi/Harley-Davidson Rapido for restoration (it is
still in the basket), then a 2000 Heritage Classic in France. In addition to
traveling the USA on their HD, he follows his lifetime passion for aircraft and
his spare time is now spent building an airplane (1929 design Pietenpol). Bob
and Thon have 3 kids, 12 grand kids (4 married) and 2 great grand kids all
scattered out in the USA, Canada and Germany.
