Phillip Mason
Some of you already know me. I have been a member of Longhorn since March
2002. Brenda and I have always done things together and over 36 years I have
lead us on our adventures in Texas, the U.S. and Europe just fine without
anyone's help. I didn’t understand why people needed to go in groups to travel!
But we had heard what a great group of people the Longhorn Chapter had so we
went on a few rides and started to make friends quickly. It wasn’t until the
Texas Boarder Ride in May of 2003 that I understood what group riding was about.
After 9 days and 3860 miles our friends became family. Since then we have became
more involved in the chapter, first I became a road captain then Assistant
director and now Director. Brenda and I have logged over 100,000 miles with the
chapter in a little over 4 years. We truly know why people travel in groups.
They like to be with family. Editors note: Phillip & Brenda Mason do truly
support the Chapter family. |
